Projects

Fashion Startup Website
For my Digital Retail Class our groups had to create a fashion start up business. We came up with a women's petite denim brand that is made of sustainable fabrics. The name of our brand is "ginny" inspired by the cotton ginning process. This is a picture of the homepage of our website we created.

Fashion Magazine
In my Technology and Visual Communication class we had to make a magazine. I was inspired by the floral and bright color trends from the S/S 22 season. I learned a lot from creating the different content that I put in my magazine and had so much fun making it.

Brand Concept Board
For this assignment we had to research current fashion trends for a season. Then we had to make a concept idea for a brand. I choose Louis Vuitton and chose a garden party theme. I incorporated S/S 22 trends and created a concept that I thought would fit best for Louis Vuitton.

Clothing Line
For my Heritage of Dress class we had to create our own clothing line. I designed the garments and came up with the business idea. My brand name is Laelia the name of a spring flower. I created a spring collection inspired by 1950s fashion made of sustainable materials.

Sustainability Brand Assessment
For one of my classes we had to pick a brand to assess their sustainability efforts. My group picked Anthropologie. We did lots of research and created a poster to show the results we found.

Rock n Roll Editorial Project
In May of 2022 I took a trip to Taos for a rock n roll editorial styling class with OSU. I learned how to use inspiration to create a narrative for my photoshoot. I gained skills in photography, production, design, and working with a professional photographer. I chose the artist Led Zeppelin and took inspiration from his song D'yer Maker from his album Houses of the Holys for my photoshoot and re-design of his album.
Stillwater Press Feature
My project from Taos was featured in a local Stillwater magazine. My project was also featured in Tulsa World.
Children's Clothing Line & NFT
For my product development class my group had to come up with a children's clothing line with an NFT. My group came up with "Frolic & Flourish". Our line was about inspiring kids to grow up and be who they dream to be that included colorful unisex clothing . Our NFT was customizable dolls to inspire children (a girl/boy firefighter, doctor, etc.) that came with an interactive game for children.
Flagship Retail Store
My final project for my visual merchandising class was to create a flagship store for a brand that does not have one. I chose the French fashion brand Mugler. To create the store I used their brand identity, values, and clothing designs for inspiration to create a Mugler flagship store. I gained skills in visual merchandising, using photoshop, enscape, and sketchup to render the store.
